Designed for you...

Designed especially with entrepreneurs and small groups in mind, this logo package provides you with your logo, ready to use as digital design assets in formats that will work for you, with print and web ready digital files.

Your logo design is vector based and scaleable (you won't lose clarity and resolution) so using your PDF file you can have your logo printed onto a sticker or onto the side of a vehicle or building ...wherever your imagination takes you!

It is designed to grow with you…

What's inside your logo design package:

  • design consultation online & via email - this is where we identify your story: values / direction / feel and style / uniqueness...to generate the design direction of your logo keeping your logo true to your story

  • digital design proof, jpeg (with 2 rounds of amendments if required)
Your main two digital files will be:
  • full colour logo for print (digital file, cmyk, print ready PDF)
  • full colour logo for web (digital file, RGB, web ready, jpg / png)
Plus you will also receive these extras so that you have a complete design package to get you started:
  • full colour logo for specialist print (digital file, PANTONE®, print ready, PDF)
  • single colour logo for limited colour print / special finishes (e.g. foiling / stitching) (digital file, PDF)
  • high resolution jpg file for desktop printing
  • colour references (cmyk / PANTONE®)

...so you can start to establish your brand by using your logo across all your printed stationery, marketing material and online!

Whether you are creating your own designs or outsourcing the design work, you can use your print ready pdf logo file to create your marketing material, business cards and more...

--------------

Why PDF?

Most printers will recommend working with cmyk, PDF files (portable document file)
- because these files capture all the relevant information from the original design document, (including colour references / paths of vector elements / layout and formatting etc) they are compatible with many different systems and are high quality - perfect for print!

How about JPEG?

JPEGs are great for capturing your design at a set size (or smaller), they in-effect flatten your design like a photograph, complete with a white background, compressing the file. If you are creating stationery for desktop printing you may find it easier to work with the high resolution jpeg file in your applications as it is smaller in file size - perfect for letterheads and invoices (especially if sending by email).

However, if you need to enlarge your logo always ensure you use your PDF version for print.

PANTONE® references are a really handy design asset, ready for when you need them for specialist print and colour matching.

PANTONE® is a registered trademark of PANTONE, Inc.

Thinking about a new logo?

Whether you need a logo for your business, a community group, product or brand - ensure you take that step this year with this special limited time offer and get a logo designed just for you, to help you to share your story with the world.

Perhaps you’ve been tinkering with a logo idea for a while, or maybe putting it off till you feel perfectly ready, or perhaps it’s become something you’ll reward yourself with once you’ve achieved a certain target…

Sound like familiar hurdles?

It is completely understandable. Logo design is a big decision and an investment so you want to make sure it’s the right choice. The market is saturated with varying options and a multitude of price points, which is great for choice but it creates a looming grey area when trying to find that perfect fit for you…

So you do some research, then more research…and a bit more… (especially if you are anything like me - when it comes to decision making I want to know all the details and options not only for now but as something that will evolve and grow with me).

Research can be empowering and help you to make informed decisions but it becomes a trap when it stops you from moving forward… you start to feel out of depth and overwhelmed with all the information… Where do you start?

Let’s shed some light through this grey mist:
- ultimately you want to love the end result and share it with the world, after all it is your story and your identity

We'll start by focusing on you, your business, idea, product, or group

  • your values and aims
  • your key audience
  • look / feel / style
  • tone of voice
  • what makes you unique
  • what experience you want to provide

- all of these will generate the design direction of your logo design - the solid foundations - keeping your logo true to your story.

Ready to take that step? Let's get designing.

Beautifully wrapped up

Make someone feel extra special with a beautifully wrapped gift...

gift wrap workshop

What do you do with those awkward shaped presents or how do you add a bit of pizazz? Gifting and wrapping is one of my favourite activities in the run up to Christmas:
  • you can disguise a gift to keep your loved ones guessing
  • create a multi layered 'pass the parcel’ style wrap with a note or a treat inside each layer (might be best to stick these in place so they are seen)
  • wrap your gift in tissue paper then inside the second layer of your chosen gift wrap add some glitter or artificial snow to guarantee a White Christmas! (kids (and big kids at heart) will love this one! ...but it’s not for everyone - choose wisely…)
  • if the gift is HUGE and will need roll upon roll of gift wrap, add a bow and tag, and send them off on a treasure hunt to find it
  • for small gifts or gift vouchers, why not pop them inside a cracker - job done!
We’ll be looking at a variety novel options and festive ideas to create gorgeous gift wrap at our Christmas Workshop on 14th December 2016 - don a Christmas hat or jumper for some extra festive fun (optional!). Bring along 2 or 3 gifts to work with… learn techniques, create and be inspired for all your Christmas gifts (and gifts throughout the year!)
- you’ll be the perfect Santa’s little helper...

The PERFECT wedding?

The PERFECT Wedding?

Okay, so does the perfect wedding really exist? You hear stories about weddings that sound so perfect, as though they have come straight from a fairy tale - how did they achieve that? and did it all really run smoothly like magic?

I'm pretty sure there are a fair few stories to be told behind every wedding,
especially in the planning part (whether it's days, months or years in the making)
as well as the things that maybe didn't quite go to plan on the day...

So what makes the foundations of the perfect wedding:
you & your fiancé

Your day is all about the two of you - your story, your hopes and wishes for your special day and beyond. It's the start of your adventure together as a married couple. Your day should capture your personality and tastes, it's a celebration of the start of the next chapter in your story.

Perfection is something that is completely bespoke to each individual, it's the creation of your ideal -yes, that's right, that makes YOU & your fiancĂ© the creators and authors of your perfect day (as well as the leading characters of your story of course) - there is no 'one fits all'. It's that 'glass slipper' moment, it's creating the day that perfectly fits the two of you...

"Once in a while,

(right in the middle of an ordinary life),

LOVE gives us a fairy tale"

So maybe the saying "Once in a while, right in the middle of an ordinary life, love gives us a fairy tale" actually holds a real truth. After all, marriage is a transformation; a new identity as a married couple, it's a day that is dedicated to you, your story, a gathering and celebration amongst your loved ones. Even if things don't go quite to plan it is how you get round them together that counts.

There are things that you can't control (the weather to list but one) but you can make a few back up plans to help embrace whatever the elements throw at you (and you can capture some really unique, beautiful and even 'magical' photos)...

I love the term 'Perfect Imperfections' - it's acceptance of the things that you can't change. Instead look for unique opportunities and ways to incorporate or turnaround any imperfections to make them 'perfect imperfections' that become part of your story and your unique day...

- making a perfect wedding, fit for you!

- how did you create your wedding day or how are you planning to create it?

Really looking forward to hearing your answers
- enjoy some time out to plan or reminisce!
Thank you, Becks

(Winner will be notified by email 30/01/2017 with their discount code and details on how to order).

Dancing Christmas Shadows...

We're gearing up for Christmas - (with the first of the Christmas workshops starting tomorrow!) to help you create beautiful handmade gifts, decorations and gift wrap...

With the colder autumnal nights here, it's lovely to reflect on family traditions past and present - I remember sitting with mum from an early age busy making paper decorations for the Christmas tree and paper chains that adorned the curtains... I loved (and still do!) setting up and decorating the table ready for family and friends to arrive and for the anticipated feast...

It's all part of setting the scene for the celebrations and festivities - adding that little bit of magic... the worst part for me is when it's time for the decorations to come down and return to their boxes in the loft until next year - it always looks so empty!

However, I have found a way...
(maybe not everything has to be packed)

Inspired by shadow art and the art of storytelling - these stunning paper cut designs really come into their own inside their box frame. The contrast between papers along with the depth of the frame allows the intricate details of the paper cuts to suspended in space and time. Beautiful shadows are cast onto the backdrop, seemingly dancing as they tell their story of Christmas!

Looking for a unique gift
this Christmas?

Keep the spirit of Christmas around all year
with these contemporary and monochromatic enchanting designs:

The Nativity

and

'The 12 Days of Christmas'

(...can you find the 12 themes depicted within?)

"A really unique way to tell the Christmas story...
They are beautiful!"

These will be on sale at the
